We're three moms who've all had the same moment: standing in the bookstore (or scrolling endlessly online) thinking, "Is this one actually right for my kid?"

Star ratings don't tell you whether a book has the kind of humor your child will love. Generic "ages 6–9" labels don't capture the difference between a reluctant reader and a kid who tears through chapter books. And every child is genuinely different. What's perfect for one might sit untouched on another's shelf.

Reco Reads was built to solve exactly that. Instead of broad reviews, we match books to your child (their reading level, their taste, and their stage of life), and let you filter out content you're not ready to introduce yet.

We're not just genre-sorting; we're tracking tone, themes, humor style, emotional weight, and the kind of content that might catch a parent off guard. Because finding the right book shouldn't feel like a gamble.
